TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, HOVER OVER THE TAB FOR THE APPOINTMENT TYPE DESIRED TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THESE CHOICES

The primary focus of our law practice is tax-litigation. Because of this we bring a range of experience unmatched by an ordinary tax preparation firm. This is why, for only a reasonable co-pay, we include full legal representation to our tax clients for examinations (audits). Also included is second level administrative representation in pre-litigation appeals cases, in the event we believe the results of an audit were inadequate. If, and only if, a client actually becomes the target of an action by a government tax agency we charge a small co-pay which is a fraction of our usual retainer for this level of legal services.

Unlike most tax preparers and definitely unlike "do it yourself" software, we do not abandon our clients after "filling in the blanks" on a tax return. Nor do we sell "audit insurance," a product of dubious value which may or may not adequately represent your interests in the event of scrutiny by the government. We do not charge a co-pay unless a client actually needs representation.

Finally, we are very selective in our clientele. For the most part, we prepare only individual income tax returns, and look for clients who want these returns prepared not only with integrity, but with a thoroughness designed to reduce tax liability to the greatest degree legally possible. Because we are tax litigators, and must justify any position we take with valid law when facing IRS and DOJ attorneys, not to mention federal judges, we must know the law far better than any non-attorney tax preparer. It is not uncommon for such preparers to "make it up as they go," willing to tell a client anything to make them happy, no matter how illegal or improper, in order to keep their business.
